When I left Pakistan, I realized that home isn’t just a place—it’s a feeling stitched into our everyday life.

I left behind more than a country. I left behind pieces of myself.

Some were on the dining table where I shared food with my family.

Some were in the stories exchanged over endless cups of chai with friends.

Others lived in the little things—like the colors in my wardrobe, or the feeling of walking through my home barefoot.

I missed it all.

But there was one thing that kept me close to home—our clothes.

The comfort, the textures, the colors, the familiar softness of our textiles. Wearing them felt like being wrapped in home, like the scent of Pakistan was stitched into every thread.

When I returned, I shared this feeling with my friend. And together, we gave it shape.

We realized that we both carried this quiet longing—the desire to hold onto our roots while embracing who we were becoming.
